About
Eric Wetzel, Founder and President of Beach View Homes, LLC, brings more than 35 years of professional custom home building experience—and a lifetime immersed in construction—to every project.
Eric’s passion for building began early. At just 12 years old, he helped his father construct their family’s home, gaining hands-on experience that shaped his future career. Throughout high school and college, Eric continued working in the field, honing his skills on framing and siding crews, where he developed a deep, practical understanding of how homes are built—from the structure outward.
Eric earned his bachelor’s degree from Purdue University in Architectural Technology and Civil Engineering/Construction, blending real-world construction experience with formal technical training. He began his professional career in Indiana with President Homes, serving first as a consultant and salesperson, and later as a general contractor.
Soon after, Eric founded Winner’s Circle Homes, LLC, a custom home building company recognized for superior craftsmanship and thoughtful design. Over the course of his career, Eric has built an extensive portfolio of custom homes, including multiple Show Homes and Home-A-Rama Homes. His work has been featured in Indianapolis Monthly Magazine, appeared on the cover of Builder/Architect Magazine, and was highlighted in a national television home-building documentary.
Eric was an active member of the Indianapolis Builders Associationfor more than 30 years and played a key role in developing the organization’s Building Standards Manual, which remains in use today.
In addition to full-service custom home construction, Eric launched a consulting company in 2014, providing professional guidance to clients building their own homes—further reinforcing his commitment to education, quality, and industry leadership.
In 2022, Eric relocated his family to Florida and founded Beach View Homes, LLC, fulfilling a long-held goal of building exceptional custom homes along Florida’s Gulf Coast.

From the very beginning, our process is built around an open-book pricing model. Clients pay the actual cost of construction, plus clearly defined overhead and profit. There are no hidden markups, surprise fees, or layers of unexplained costs.
Before architectural design begins, we provide an initial cost estimate based on your goals, scope, and desired level of finish. This early budgeting step allows you to move forward with confidence, knowing you have a realistic understanding of what your finished home will cost—before investing significant time and money into final plans.
As the project progresses, costs are tracked carefully and shared openly. Clients receive regular updates throughout construction, so they always understand where they are financially and how decisions impact the overall budget. Transparency and communication are not optional—they are fundamental to how we operate.
Unlike many builders, Eric does not charge an additional management fee on top of the budgeted project cost. Project management, coordination, and oversight are already included as part of Beach View Homes’ standard operating structure. This ensures alignment between the builder and the client, with everyone working toward the same goal: delivering exceptional value and quality without unnecessary overhead.
